Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride or alternatively UPVC is an engineered plastic commonly used since the 1980’s as an alternative to aluminium and timber. To restore the original shine on your UPVC door or windows you’ll need to apply some of your UPVC cleaner to a dampened cotton cloth then begin to work on the area, ensuring that this is done gently to prevent scratching the surface. It’s important to work in small sections so the solution doesn’t dry and mark the area. Once you’ve finished in one area you can buff off the excess solution with a dry cloth.
