The Freedor SmartSound from Fireco allows fire doors to swing freely and be left in any position but, with the SmartSound listening technology, it closes the door when detecting a fire alarm, thus adhering to safety regulations and helping to prevent the passage of fire and smoke through a building. Using the Freedor makes life easier; the free-swing function removes all resistance, making heavy fire doors less difficult to operate, it is a wire-free product ensuring a simple installation process, and it has a conveniently long lasting battery life of 3 years. The Freedor has been fire tested to 30 minutes and it meets with the requirements of EN1154, EN1155 and EN1634 as well as being CE marked. It is strength size 4 and features fully adjustable closing and latching speeds, providing maximum versatility for the end user.
