NICO Friction Hinge Restricted Non Handed Side Hung 13mm (1 Pair) – 300mm (12 Inch) x 13mm

Description

The Nico standard side hung friction hinge is a high-performance window hinge engineered for use in side-hung casement applications. Fabricated from high-grade 304 austenitic stainless steel, it offers superior corrosion resistance and long-term durability, making it suitable for use in both residential and commercial environments. This hinge incorporates a precision friction mechanism using low-wear polymer friction pads, which allows the sash to remain open at multiple positions without additional stays, offering smooth and controlled operation throughout the full opening range. Designed with a 13mm stack height, this hinge is compatible with slim-profile window systems and is available in various lengths to accommodate different sash sizes and weights. It features accurately riveted pivot points and a robust arm configuration for enhanced load-bearing capacity and operational stability. Additional design features include an integrated location slot for easy alignment during installation and a secure end-cap to protect the mechanism. The Nico Standard Side Hung Friction Hinge meets the performance and endurance criteria of BS 6375 and the corrosion resistance requirements of BS EN 1670, making it a technically reliable solution for high specification window assemblies.
