Description

The Codelocks ConnectShare CL4510CC Mortice Latch Digital Lock is a medium-duty electronic access control solution designed to provide convenient, keyless entry for internal and external doors. The lock incorporates a 12 button backlit keypad and a medium-duty tubular mortice latch with an anti-shim plunger. Once valid access is granted, the outside control retracts the latch, while closing the door automatically allows the spring latch to secure it again. The non-handed design enables installation on both left and right hung doors, with a brushed steel zinc alloy construction suitable for a wide range of commercial applications. The CL4510CC provides flexible management of access credentials, helping users control and share access without relying solely on conventional keys. The lock platform supports NetCode functionality for generating temporary access codes remotely, making it particularly useful where access needs to be provided to visitors, contractors or other authorised users for defined periods. It can store up to 350 clients and provides an audit trail, while auxiliary connections allow integration with compatible remote release switches, door status monitoring and other access control equipment. The CL4510CC is powered by four AA batteries, with battery status monitoring and a visual low-battery warning to assist with ongoing maintenance. There is a mechanical key override function provided as standard for additional access security and convenience. Designed for doors between 35mm and 60mm thick, the lock is vertically mounted and can be used with compatible mortice latch sizes to suit the installation. It’s suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, however, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack – please see associated products. Clean by Codelocks is an optional finish available to special order on many Codelock products. The clear coating combats SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (COVID-19) and can reduce bacterial growth by 99.96%*, providing an additional measure of protection over sanitisation. Clean by Codelocks features an ISO certified photocatalytic coating which offers enhanced protection against viruses, bacteria, germs and other environmental toxins.
